Specialist in criminal law, both substantive and procedural. He was Advisor on criminal matters to the State Defense Council between 2019 and 2023. Being, one of the promoters of the new Law of Economic and Environmental Crimes. He has experience as Director of continuing education and postgraduate programs.

Experience

Since 2001, he has been an advisor or consultant in criminal matters of public institutions (such as Public Prosecutor's Office, Public Criminal Defender's Office, Ministry of Justice, National Economic Prosecutor's Office, National Customs Service, among others), in addition to being an advisor to the Criminal Committee of the State Defense Council since 2019.

During the periods of 1991-1994 and 1999-2000 he was Legal Advisor to the Technical Secretariat of the Higher Council of Education. He also workes as lawyer of the Coordinating Unit of the Criminal Procedure Reform of the Ministry of Justice (1999-2000) and counsel to the Public Prosecutor National Public Ministry (2000). He has vast experience as professor, at the Universities Diego Portales, Alberto Hurtado and Andrés Bello.
