Litigation and Arbitrations
We specialize in civil, commercial and economic litigation, both in
ordinary and arbitral courts. We study and understand the markets in
which the litigation falls, with special knowledge of certain
industries such as healthcare, energy, mining and construction.
Some members of the Firm are arbitrators of the "Arbitration and
Mediation Center" of the Santiago Chamber of Commerce or perform
relevant functions in a "Litigation Fund".
In addition, we frequently evaluate litigation for Litigation Funds
or as part of due diligence.
The Firm was recognized by the Leaders League in 2023 as a "quality
practice" in arbitration and as a "recommended" practice in civil
and commercial litigation. He was also recognized as a Legal 500 in
Litigation.
In 2023, the Firm litigated and won the Eldu/Eletrans case in the
Supreme Court, with a ruling that was chosen by "El Mercurio Legal"
as one of the 10 most important of the year. The award is based on
good faith and sets aside an arbitral award against which there were
no appeals.
